Jump the Pond or use the tube for seafood: France
squeegee is correct...Main = Lobster

Look for the Pakistan hoods for currys.
Brits over cook everything or turn it to mush.
Terrific Ales n Stouts. Fish n Chips can be dice'y unless you ask around.

Unlike America we don't have loads of chain restaurants but rather quite a few independent ones. If you live in London you can find great lobster at London Bridge around borough market. Soho also has a few awesome seafood restaurants.

You must live on a shitty english council estate. The idea of the Brits having shit food is from the 70s but stuck like a stereotype.

Ok, I assumed you were a yank. I'm guessing you live on an council estate with a chippie, a cheap chinese and an icelands.

it is actually a chippie, a normally-priced indian and a one-stop

That would explain why you think british food is shit, because your experience is extremely limited. Have you ever tried cooking for yourself?

I can't think of a way to express my disgust with you at this moment without seeming overly hostile so I guess I'll just answer your question.

Yes, I have tried cooking for myself. I'm very good at it. And British cuisine is the most boring and crap in the world.

I'm guessing you're one of those kids in the pictures from this http://minichan.org/topic/23682 thread. If you so you can't be older than 19. You're also a brony, like anime and named your handle after a female computer game champion so I would be shocked if you were an adult.
You claim to be a good cook yet find British cuisine to be "most boring and crap in the world" I think I found your problem, chef.

Seriously, you asked a question directed at Brits about food and I gave you an answer. You could have also spent 10mins on google to find your answer and also discover that British food is held in high regard.
To me you seem like a kid, a bored estate kid on an American site desperate to fit in by playing up to stereotypes.
