A henry lever action repeater. I can either get a 44 mag, a .45 colt or a .22 "goldenboy" for target shooting and varmits.

I kinda want the .45 colt, but it's way more than the .22 and the ammo is a lot more... Hmmm.

I used to have the .22lr henry in new vegas it's pretty good if your gun level is high enough

Me too. So it turns out i can either buy a Yugoslavian Ak47 from a dealer in arizona and hace it shipped to Big Ray at Big Ray's Sporting Goods (i think it's called) or Big Ray said he's got an lawyer on retainer who can set up a class 3 Trust for a modest fee and i can get a new MP5 with a silencer.

Funny how this all started as me wanting a lever action .22

It really depends on what you're going to be using it for. If you're just plinking get dat .22lr, but I'd prefer the .45 colt personally. The only lever action rifle I have anymore is an old 30-30 but they're a lot of fun to shoot.

not yet, i had no idea most lever action rifles were so expensive. i have decided to buy a .22LR, but the lever actions are about as expensive as the semi-automatics.
and let's face it,
automatics are better than manuals.

But i already own a bolt action 30/30.
And .22 is more for target shooting and armadillos than anything "serious."
I decided against a larger chambered gun because i don't hunt big animals, already have a gun for that anyways if i did, and .22 is almost free to shoot.
