I remember quite a bit of my father who I lost at a similar age.
Big, bearded, and strong. He took days off to teach me how to ride a bike. He was nice like that.
I remember him vividly watching me going down my backyard slide and lifting me up to the top again and also watching Toy Story at my cousin's house the next morning at 4am on the one day he didn't wake up.
