Yes, but I think it's slightly more white trash than living in a trailer.

No, it means you are an interstate (pronounced as one word) swashbuckling adventurer. Also, they are just so damn comfy and cute. I love camping!

Around my Ocean a Blue area; Surfers will come in for the summer and do the van living thang. Think of it as tent on wheels. Not much room but hey how many here live in a small bedroom and heat food on a small stove. Might work for you Walter, but don't plan on it for the long haul. Showers in Van cannot work all that well. Here at the beach there are free outside showers and that is what most use as well as the restrooms.

Could work for you IF Disneyland has nice showers and dressing areas for employees? If one were to eat out mostly, tent on wheels could work in Orange County.
BUT If its like a sail boat in the rain? Horrid noise pounding down on you would work if EARPLUGS or Earbuds.

That's actually a good question. In desperate measures, you could technically live backstage on property for a couple days. We don't have places to sleep, but we do have showers, bathrooms, and places to eat. Everywhere.
But yeah, not for very long since security would catch on quickly enough for them to question you, and there's nowhere to just lay down and sleep (comfortably) unless you're doing it in a common area like a break room with a couch or something.

Playing Amateur Psychologist - Walter is in escape mode. First his Island now RV. Not that there is anything wrong with a fantasy. But its escape to alonesville. That's not healthy for the long haul.
And imagine meeting a girl and asking her out on a date and then when its time to take her home, well that might not be such a good plan.

Now thinking about this and I just got in from far too many hours of Surfing in a very poor quality Hardly any Surf Breaking and its super low tide and time to get my 10 miles run in on beach.
It occurred to me that the RV thing could work for a while because years n years ago I read a book - Travels with Charley by John Steinbeck. Charley was his dog. I think it was one of those campers you pull with a car or truck and later will look it up. Was a grand adventure for him and dog and for me as reader.
Out for my 10 miles on what as you know is one hell of a nice day.

Well I guess it's alright if you forgo decadent light fixtures in favor of simple, uncluttered bare lightbulbs.

I do not live in one but I've been in one. If it's just you or you and someone else it wouldn't be bad at all. You could save a lot of money that way and have the freedom to move wherever you want.

The RV would make it easier for me to settle into a nice lakeside area. Later I can get rid of it for a modern house, but that will be later in life.

Have you considered the logistics of female companionship as related to isolated envior you want to live in? Adding a RV to the equation? Now of course in RedNeck areas n other places there are those trailer parks, but I bet that is mostly older retired or just poor white trash.
Single n Free unless you turn into a beer belly beer drinking form of poor white trash...Will let you mumble over my mumblings.

I enjoy isolation, but yeah, it would be nice to have a girlfriend for my travels that ISN'T a gypsy. Trailer parks are absolutely disgusting, and doesn't give me the freedom of a private lake.
I'd be making moonshine vodka;
