Are vocal lessons only for people who already can sing, or can they help people who COULD sing, but simply don't know how to properly do it?
Like, could a person with a voice that could be refined in to something good get that voice through lessons, or are they stuck there?

it's kind of a subjective skill anyways, so it can be learned. you just have to find the right style that matches yoru voice

You have to develo a sense of pitch. Once you know what pitch is in your head, you match your voice to certain pitched to create measures of music and eventually a song

Yeah, I took singing lessons when I was younger for a lead choir role.

dude I;m pretty good at singing, and have never taken a lesson. What I suggest is to sing a lot in private, just to get a feel for your voice
