It's television. Television is a dinosaur medium. Music videos are cool. Television is now lame. Hence the two can no longer coexist.

What you talking about? Still hours of program time devoted to music videos. Just not end to end anymore. Cost is high for music makers to produce and with Youtube, you can still get what you want.
