ive never had much luck with headphones, either the speakers are too big to hang them around the neck, the band breaks, the speakers are positioned akwardly and i accidently break them free of the band, or some combination of the three; i dont know how the hell anyone actually uses headphones for anything other than plugging into a large device and leaving them there.

Yeah, I hear good things about Sennheizer.

I actually am just using some lower line skullcandy earphones right now, sound quality is nice, but I have no interest in paying all that much for it. I used to have "beats by Dr. Dre" earphones, I think they were around $200.00 sound quality to me was only marginally better, they broke, not dropping cash on headphones/earphones again.
