Rep. Tammy Baldwin, D-WI,Just elected a US Senator.
In a 2010 ranking of House members done by the National Journal, Baldwin tied with six other representatives as most liberal. **Editors note: Fucking bloody wonderful to be on that list.
Baldwin is the first openly LGBT member of the US Senate.

note 1: She may not be the first Lesbian Senator. With so many women in he Senate, there were probably hundreds of them.
