I looked on Google maps and it doesn't say the total number of miles when I go to directions.

85 miles? Sure in a couple of days unless its spring summer cause Sacramento is like Hell re heat. But ya its a simple 2 day trip on foots.

I think my state is trying to build some kind of high speed rail for like a zillion billion bucks. Amtrak probably does that trip but Cathy would discover that's expensive. I looked recently at Amtrak for a 100 mile trip so as to relax and beat the peak drive time traffic from here to there. I don't remember the cost but it sure was a lot more then gas - that did not put me off but I could get there faster cheeper and faster was-is the key.
