When a big storm hits where 99% of your friends and family are and your grandmother doesn't answer the phone the next morning......Because she is pooping. -_-'
My family and some of my friends that I know are okay.

I have a lot of empathy for the hundreds of Africans who live and starve to death each and every day in truly horrible conditions. I pray that their suffering doesn't last long.
On the other hand I have no sympathy for people who wait around to get wiped out by a natural disaster.

I rather get nothing from my grandmother and have her live to be honest. I know people die every day. But I still hope for their health and well being. She means a lot to me. I am well aware one day, she will be gone, but it sucks being so far away to the point it is a long trip to go see her, or any of my other family. In Texas, I have no family but Krodan and his family. Now, I love them, but its not the same. Now, this was my choice to move here and my fault I can't see them, and I have to live with that. But, it still tears me apart. I am a very emotional person. But, I know it won't end me.

Good all is going more well today for ya.
My Storm story for you. Business trip to East Texas. Did so about every 3 weeks for many many years. Los Angeles or WDC or other places to Dallas Airport. Rent car and hit Hwy 30 and drive to Greenville Texas.
As I remember its devoid of anything other then one hamlet called Royse city. Lots of roads with "FM" and for a few years I had no clue what the FM meant.
Then one late evening starting out about 9PM and about the only car on Hwy 30 some time around 10:30 car radio hits me with a WARNING MESSAGE TO TAKE TORNADO persecutions. All I knew about such was from the movie Wizard of Oz. Honestly had no clue what I should do. No place to stop, no hamlets near by. No one to ask and this was at dawn of cell phones and would not help re no towers out there.
So nothing happened. In for two work days and out - On Plane for flight home and pilot says - We are going to make a turn so all of you can see a Tornado that is touching down. It was one assume thing to see. Go home to discover that that Tornado had hit Greenville and did a lot of damage.
