Totally for it up to a certain point. I don't think it's healthy for kids to be exposed to stuff they're not even old enough to understand. Such exposure can leave an indelible impression on kids. Imagine an 8 year old being exposed to scat porn, or BDSM etc. It's not a good situation. Even regular porn could be potentially detrimental at a young age. As kids get older and hit puberty totally isolating them from sexual stuff could also be harmful, so it's kind of a play by ear type of deal imo.
I have a computer set up just for my kids and I monitor their activity pretty closely.

Lol. I have televisions in my house, but none of them air anything. Out here there is no free TV as the channels don't come in. I have an Xbox, a Wii, computers, DVD players, VCR's, and internet. Paying for television at this point is just silly. I have no download limit and decent speeds, anything I need or want is just a few clicks away.

I think their hearts are in the right place, but many take it too far. Anything in extremes seems like a bad idea.
When people say parenting is tough they aren't fucking kidding. You gotta think things through, and even then you're gonna fuck some things up. There is no such thing as a perfect parent, and there is no guidebook for every situation. I think it's important parents look for flaws in themselves as often they do their children's behavior. Being a parent is the toughest job you'll ever love.
