I found it to be mildly unsettling. Probably because I'm also going do it with a rich and powerful black man for the first time. I think Obama needs to tone down his pandering to women voters just a bit though.

I don't know what you're attacking because I've never defended Republicans, and more importantly I'm not going to vote for one in November. My point is there are plenty of better ways to appeal to young women than comparing voting for the first time to losing your virginity.

It's pandering to women because it is making the totally unfounded (and frankly, creepy) connection between losing your virginity and voting for Obama. "Remember what it was like to lose your virginity to a guy you loved? Well you can relive that experience in November by voting for Obama." It doesn't make any substantive points about how Obama is good for women, beyond some oblique reference to the Lily Ledbetter Act. It is just a shameless appeal to the emotions of women voters, which makes it pandering.

It's disgusting. Making fun of virgins? Claiming that they are not real women? Apparently women only become humans through sexually servicing men, regardless of whether they want to or not (criticized for saying "I wasn't ready). This ad is the most blatant example of misogyny this campaign.
