Perhaps not for very more --- Can you spell Bankruptcy Filed 2009 then 2011 and now AGAIN 2012 - Hostess Brands in deeeeeeeeep almost as deeeeeep as USA Debt.
Looking this up because the first time they filed I ran out and stocked up on Hostess Cupcakes - rare I eat them but the very idea I could no longer sent me shopping. At least they will last into next century.
Found this nor have I tasted that Wonder bread in more years then you are alive nor am I joking.

Wonder bread is the antithesis of European breads. Euro breads have weight to them. Wonder bread is like a fluffy cloud with about as much nutrition as a cloud.

Growing up in California I always heard about Russian black bread. Local bakery's provided all kinds of alternatives, but store bought was usually Wonder bread. Ultra light in weight. My mother never bought that stuff but some of her alternatives did not work for me re sandwich falling apart. Wonder bread sort of sticks to everything like glue so it cannot fall apart.
So when I first started to hit Europe on business trips I always hit a bakery for the local breads. Germany really heavy and great breads. Don't remember a bakery trip in Netherlands. But when I first hit Russia, I hit a bakery and bought several kinds of Russian black breads. Took them back to my hotel and enjoyed for many a day. Each trip I did the same and mostly re Kid thing -
No American has a clue about the Line, Bread Wine and Cheese, because Americans are used to breads more like Fluff.
A loaf of wonder bread will stay fresh for almost forever. In France I noticed that unless you eat French bread the moment you buy it, its hard as a rock a few hours later. Lots of French breads here and the best are flown down from San Francisco daily. One famous bakery in Los Angeles and one in San Diego make something almost as good, and they last about 2 days before becoming hard as a ROCK.
