USA Arizona does NOT observe DST. The State of Arizona that is: Inside the State resides; The Navajo Indian Reservation, & they do observe DST.

Russia doesn't give a fuck, and so should the rest of the world. This shit is so last century and should be abandoned, gives me just headaches (that feel when you're totally out of sync with Australian business partners due to DTS).

Err, no. We do this to keep our time consistent over time. If we didn't do it then it would slowly change over a few years until it became completely different.

When I lived/worked in Australia and had to keep in Sync with Qualcomm in San Diego - Upside down tyme was bad enough. DST made it even more of a byyyyytchhhh.

I had a skype call scheduled with some aussie folks on a sunday morning, and we missed each other by 2 hours cause that sunday our clocks went +1 their -1...

Hmm... Turns out that's not why we do it.
Luckily, after an overdue google search I've found that it's still a good idea. It allows us to make better use of daylight and save electricity. Those are good things.

Not really that much saving these days... it used to be for that, but doesnt make sense anymore... + now when the clocks will go back, sun will go down at 4-5 PM, rush hour time + setting/blinding sun... the result is more accidents cause people were blinded by the sun.
All in all, a relic from history that should be abandoned, like the russians did... :)
