Ir's my alarm clock mostly. If I happen to wake up in the middle of the night i check my phone to see what time it is and if i got any texts, but they usually wait until morning.

Yes, I sleep with both my cellphone and a chapstick in bed with me. Also a minimum of one cat.

Pretty much exactly this without the inherent gayness of the poster.

I asked becuase on NPR a researcher conducted a study and found that most people sleep with their cell phones, but that younger people unabashadly sleep with it and use it at night. However, older folks tend to sleep with it also but make excuses, the most prevalent being "i use it as my alarm."
I use mine as an alarm (doh!) but also check messages before i even roll out of bed.

Bet your cell phone is in Vib mode.
I don't. It's on my desk in case I get an emergency call.

Fun fact: the cat who usually sits on your bed is the dominant one.

They seem to spend equal amounts of time on my bed.

Interesting... Apparently if there's multiple cats the most dominant one will claim the bed, since it's such an attractive place for a cat. Guess there's exceptions to that.

My cats do not do this, because I feed them. Thanks.
