How possible is it that Disneyland gets rid of their Toontown area in exchange for a new MARVEL themed one?

There are, however, rumors discussing the possibility of a third park in Anaheim based on the Marvel franchise.
It wouldn't be possible in Florida though, because Universal still owns the rights to Marvel in any park on the east coast.
Personally, since we have such cramped limited space in LA, I hope they build something else.

they would never do so. Toontown is specifically friendly and non violent for small children. Marvel, not so much.

They can build a new Disney land as a high rise operation. If they can do this in Dubai; Disney land can have added acres going up several layers in sky. Absolutely. The Japanese have multilevel amusement parks. If they can build a a ski resort indoors; Disneyland can build up skywards.

And as Falco knows and others who have been to Disneyland CA, there really is no more room to build OUT. The so called last patches, would make a good miniature golf course but not much else.

Yea that is true. Of course if they wanted to, they are not really all that far from the Pacific ocean. They could build an Island (Great for a new Pirates of Caribbean) and even drill and pump oil and make the new Island energy sufficient. Minor Coastal commission issues. Disneyland always gets what they want from California.
