Hmm. It's a range? But they don't have purple lips, generally. I'm not talking about dark lips, I mean like, the distinctly purple hue that Obama has. Maybe it's the lighting.

Mittens' facial expressions when Obama is speaking are out of control. Obama's tactic of looking down, writing notes is very smart.

I love how Romney stares at Obama so much, trying to engage, and Obama just refuses to make eye contact. You could have the sound off and know exactly how badly it's going for Mittens.

Romney is not doing as terrible as I hoped he would. I had hoped he'd fuck it up so bad there's no way it could be painted as a Romney victory.
I really like the part where Romney said government isn't needed in the healthcare industry. Yet he did that shit in his own state. Classic.

While I still think Romney won, his "proposals" make no sense when you actually think about them. He's going to raise military spending, restore Medicare spending, lower taxes on everybody, AND lower the deficit? It seems impossible.
Anonymous D replied with this 14 years ago, 11 minutes later, 3 hours after the original post[^][v]#354,509

He can claim to lower taxes because he's going to cut the rates. He will raise the tax burdens because he is going to cut deductions that a lot of the middle class use. The deductions that wealthy people abuse will likely not be gutted as much.

Obama will rock Romney in later debates. Also, a lot of what Romney was saying was flip-flopping like a mofo to stuff he's said in the past. Most Americans were voting one way or the other long before the candidates were even chosen. Republicans want Obama out and they don't give a shit who is it they replace him with. It's sad because they seem to ignore the fact that a Republican president got us here...

It's not confusing at all really. It's quite clear he want to cut the fuck out of everything, throw trillions more at the military, lower taxes for the super-rich, and fuck the middle class in the ass. There's simply no other way to accomplish what he's proposing. A Romney presidency would be truly horrible for the people of this country, yet he has fervent support. Makes sense. People are gonna literally vote against themselves.
We will be in Iran within two years under Romney. Not that I think he's going to win, but the fact that he is even close is disgusting. Atrocious.

I have. It's pretty compelling stuff. We just saw Romney put forward a tax-cut-and-spend plan that probably won't stand up to realistic criticism as well as open himself up to attacks from the right for voicing more centrist positions on some issues. Romney certainly seemed to be the more energetic of the two tonight, but it will interesting to see how the long game plays out in the coming debates. Aside from your dick comments, is there anything else I should consider objectively?
