There was a thread on a fan forum that was discussing what were to happen if The Borg invaded the Star Wars galaxy. Many of the fans agreed that The Borg would overtake it if during the era of the Galactic Republic, but many claim that it'll be a long fought battle between them and the Empire.
So who would come out victorious in a war between the Galactic Empire from Star Wars and The Borg from Star Trek?

The answer of course is easy. If the Borg won, then Paramount Pictures would end up in deep doo doo. No one wants the Borg to win. Studio would lose the franchise.

after giving this considerable thought i've come to the natural conclusion that the borg would stand no chance. Even during the galactic republic, the jedi would just send boarding parties and obliterate every borg on the cube. then they'd implode the core and book it the hell home. borg are too slow and weak to be much threat to a jedi. even if the borg's personal shield could stop lightsabers a good jedi would just use the force to knock the borg on it's back. they're like turtles.
