I have a couple.
I have the habit of holding my breath while walking through crowded areas e.g. (hallways) because:
1. it's most likely going to smell horrific or unpleasant
2. people breathing and talking makes me feel like a couple of bacteria here and there might aviate from their mouth to me and cause me to become sick or something.
Eating in proportion.
I like my milk to have enough cereal. No less, no more.
Ketchup and mayonnaise. Same rules apply...^
Sanitizing my hands.
It's not like i'm a germophobe or some shit. It's just that most of my common colds that I've had in the past could have been prevented by me just washing my hands or staying away from people with a cold.
I count this as quirky because many people don't wash their hands even after they pee.

Hm. That's a tough one. I wouldn't necessarily say this is odd, but whenever I see an animal that has been hit by a vehicle laying next to smooth rocks (this is important) I pick them up and save them until I have about 20 seperate animals and rocks. I make sure to keep them in a dark and enclosed area for several months and occasionally sprinkle pepper and salt onto both the rocks and animals. After this, I carefully move each animal and accompanying rock into my kitchen, one by one. Then, I neatly place them on a glass tray and cover them with a coat of low fat mayonnaise from the waist up (again, this is very important) and then wait for a few minutes so that the mayonnaise can be properly absorbed. The rocks are also to be covered in low fat mayonnaise, but with sugar added. They are then placed in my freezer for 6 weeks, and are to be left completely alone during this time for spiritual purposes.
After this process is complete I take them to a lake and skip them.

When I lie down to go to bed, everything that happened that day races through my head, and if I don't try really hard to fall asleep, it can take hours to fall asleep. By "try really hard to fall asleep" I mean, I have to keep my mind focused on a few things. Usually, I repeat the words "Bed, floor, bed, floor, etc." in my head until my mind settles down enough that I can sleep. I wouldn't want to change this though, because it's during this time when my mind is racing that I do my best thinking.
Also, occasionally I'll stop and wonder what an interstellar alien species would think about certain aspects of humanity and our civilization. From their point of view, most of it seems silly and trivial, and that can get me depressed sometimes.

Oh shit, haha that reminded me of another quirk (though this one is also a mental quirk, not a habit or anything that manifests itself). I'll occasionally think of the universe as like a video game with a randomly generated universe and randomly generated species with certain traits randomly selected from a pool. For example, our universe (thanks to the random computer algorithm) selected our solar system to have a star with a radius of 695,500 km and a spectral class of G2, etc. The human species was given the traits of music, reason, religion, literacy etc. Perhaps we were denied other traits, like telepathy or some other trait which we cannot fathom.

I dunno if this qualifies as a quirk, but I will often remember a past event where I feel i didn't act as a normal person would, and then I will utter something like "fuck fuck fuck" or "ugh, kill yourself" or "I wish I was dead"

I do something similar. I'll be reflecting on some series of events that took place (sometimes years back) and think about something that I did or said that, in retrospect, was the wrong thing to do or say. I will then get tense and embarrassed about it. Usually I can keep myself from muttering anything aloud, but it must look odd to see someone suddenly become nervous and uncomfortable for no apparent reason. I try not to dwell on such things.
I do something similar. While I like the taste of some foods (tomatoes, lettuce, almonds, peanuts, etc etC) I cannot actually eat them without gagging, because of the texture.
I have to have everything parallel to each other on my nightstand every night, or it bothers me (like, my glasses, ds, and phone, all longways, and as even with tables and edges as possible)
I cannot work in a kitchen if someone else is standing around near it, or the dining room.
I cannot look in a refrigerator if someone stands behind me.
I flinch if I am sitting and people walk behind me, whether I know they are actually there or not.
cannot sleep uncovered, even if it is hot as hell.
refuse to walk around without clothes on, even when alone.
I cannot talk on the phone, and do other things at the same time, it get so bad that I often go for months without a cell phone, simply because what I am doing is more important than someone's ass drippings they feel they must tell em about while I am busy.
if I am playing a game while someone happens to call me, I begin patrolling whatever room I am in, and have a nearly flawless kill rate.
when playing games that have ammo, or other limited resources, I always use the cheapest things as much as possible, and rarely, if ever, use the more expensive, or impressive, ammo types. I typically always stick to my pistol and little else.
The majority of the work that I do that I Show other people, like writing, or minecraft projects, music, art, are actually what I Would personally consider some of my more mediocre things. I almost always trash what I consider my most brilliant things without anyone ever seeing it unless they saw me whilst I was working on it.

I have big problems remembering names and dates, when and in which order things happened, but I can easily remember passwords, IP addresses and sometimes phone numbers
Misc:
I know I'm skinny, probably below what's good (and I always have been), but I know somehow it would still please me if I stepped onto a scale and saw that I had lost weight (therefor I think it would be a bad idea for me to buy a bathroom scale)
I don't have a TV and I don't want one
I don't drink alcohol, I don't drink coffee, and I don't smoke
Sleeping:
I can't sleep for more than 5 hours or so in a row, although I can fall asleep again after waking up sometimes so I sometimes think of it as units of sleep
My dreams commonly feature places I have never been (imaginary places), occasionally reoccuring between dreams and people who become someone else while I look away or while they turn their back to me, but in the dream there is no morphing, there is no surprise that someone is suddenly someone else, it just is and the dream goes on as if it was always the new person
