> I am finding it so hard to focus on my reading. Agh. I wish I could just not do this but I don't want to fail and this professor is kinda hot.
What's his name?

Depending on what you are writing and how you go about the process, it might help. If you can just start typing and say what you are trying say without worrying about style or presentation, then being tired (or possibly drunk) can maybe make this easier. When the main ideas and a rough structure are on the page, then you can go back to edit, revise, shuffle things around, fine-tune sentences, add counterpoints or supporting arguments, etc. a little later. Ideally, "a little later" wouldn't be "a few hours later and right before it's due", but being short on time always sucks. :(

You're doing philosophy, there's an easy way out: simply use your essay to argue that the assignment you were given does not in fact exist, as there is no objective standard for evaluating if it does exist at all.
If I understand philosophy, then you should get a good grade that way.

I remember once when it was 9.00.10 and I had to get to the 8th floor by 9.00.59. There was no time to wait for the lift so I ran up the steps as fast as I could. Arrived at 9.01.05 and got reprimanded for being late. Couldn't breathe for ages. Heart rate at 210+bpm.

Haha that sucks. My professors don't really care if you're a little late.

There was this other time when I accidentally killed my neighbours and had to fake a murder-suicide. Got away with it. Had to punch myself in the face as proof I was in the location because of a fight ongoing.
