Some Americans made a film about us!! Let's go and smash up the BRITISH and GERMAN embassies! Because in Britain and Germany inciting religious hatred is illegal, the creators of this film would likely be arrested by now if they were European. FUCK IT ANY WHITE MAN WILL DO!

Poor educations, religious fanaticism taught to them from birth, being conditioned to keep a closed mind, lots of reasons.
It's not necessarily Islam itself that is entirely at fault, but the culture of much of the Middle East. But hey, that's improving. For example , women over there are very gradually gaining more rights and its people are questioning totalitarian regimes en masse.

Nah. It's a rather prescient look at their own version of recent history. It's explained from American culture, but the context is appropriately aligned with ethnographic research.
