Topic: What grinds my gears: Cat trees made for small cats

beckyderp !CaTLdYmooc started this discussion 14 years ago #22,229

I am simply trying to find a quality cat tree for my 20- and 22-lb. cats. What am I supposed to do with a cat tree with a maximum weight of 15 lbs. total?

Does this look solid enough for my beasts? or should I go with this one?

They already have this one and it's held up for two years.

You know, it's really hard to consider trees that small when there are things like this and this in the world. They can hold 70 lbs. of cat!!

Ouch, those are probably too tall for my apartment. Goddammit.

Buy a 70 lbs. one and saw it in half. Problem solved.

One of the most ridiculous topics I've seen. Your stupid overweight cat doesn't need a god damn tree you idiot. Are all dykes this retarded?

why don't you have them diet and slim down to 15 lbs so they can use a cat tree for normal cats?

these

Cat trees cost way too much. Draw up a plan for the size/shape you want. Any large hardware store will sell you leftover cuts of wood and carpet on the cheap. Some nails and carpet staples and a little sisal rope, and you have a cat tree after a little work. It makes a fun weekend project if you're into that kind of thing.

Yes. I like the ladder and the hammock. It should fit in my apartment I think.

It's posts like this that show us that to4str is pure evil. Not the driving on drugs posts, not the molesting his younger brother posts, but these posts.

Cats are retarded animals. I ran over one just last week, lined it up with one of my wheels so it didn't damage the car. Splat.

Anonymous B replied with this 14 years ago, 2 minutes later, 3 hours after the original post[^] [v] #350,107

@previous (D)
You ran over it hoping that the blood would get on your brake calipers, thus making them red like you wanted, as you are too incompetent to paint them.

If you count modifying the bonnet by crashing into things, then no.

I don't think accidentally crashing into a house due to a mechanical failure of the vehicle (no fault of my own) would be considered a Rally Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement.

Well, from what I've seen, overfeeding those under your care in America has become the norm. All those cuddley children!
