I really did not know - It says flammable spray paints NO GO BUT Non-flammable liquid, gel, or aerosol paint Is OK
Jet Blue says no to any spray paint.
Further search says any can with a solvent that will support a flame is NO GO - CO2 would be ok per TSA. So water based paints that work with CO2 would pass TSA rules.

Interesting. Well it's definitely flammable, I'm flying with Singapore airlines. But I don't know what airline the connecting flight is with. Probably gonna be safer to leave it at home, but I can't buy gold colored spray paint where I'm going :(.

Art supply stores should have something you could use. Why does it have to be spray?

Third world countries tend not to have art stores. It's for the frame of a push bike, a tin of paint and brush would take forever, plus it would be really messy.

What I do for a living is to solve problems. Yours is really easy. You want to spray gold paint! So and this is really easy!
Buy a very small can of Gold paint. Model shops sell very small cans. Then get one of these.
Largest I see for under $7.00 only holds 2oz. Ran out of time re dinner with friends soon so look up on web or check with a Home Depot for Atomizer's.
You could get a really cheep plastic water spray bottle that holds all you need. Solvent would eat up that thing after one use. But you only need it for that one job.
