They also build these. If they can make a box-rectangle they can make smaller triangles eh?

They're going to stop making those. Apple's patent covers all rectangular shapes.

I hate double posting which does happen with glitch's but I suspect OP is a mod with delete powers.

Anyway as a holder of several patents one has to keep in mind how appeal courts deal with this key issue: A Patent has to be novel, non-obvious and useful.

A Rectangle with rounded corners? LoL How many PC's were made as a Rectangle with rounded corners without this issue ever coming up among competitors? How many other cell phones before Apple ever made its first were Rectangles with rounded corners? Ericsson made so many models that way forever so I am looking to place bets on the appeal process laffing this all off.

The verdict surprised me because I was under the impression that to take someone to court and win, the infringing product had to be close enough in appearance that a reasonable person would mistake it for something else. How can you mistake a Samsung Galaxy SIII for an iPhone when it says SAMSUNG on the front and back of the device? This is like Toyota suing Nissan and winning $1 billion because the Nissan Cube looks kinda sorta like a Scion xB from a distance (and Toyota winning because they patented the idea of boxy cars).

The verdict was handed down in Apple's backyard, duh.
