Topic: Manners, and entitlement.

So, I try to be a polite person, I fancy myself well versed in the protocol of outings, conversation, and sociality.

I am aware of the practice of holding open doors for girls, letting them get first pick, and whatever else, even those things come from a time when women were seen as weak, and inferior.

I have no problem holding doors open for not just girls, but anyone.

But I fucking hate it when either no thank you is given (because that's what I'm supposed to do), or when someone stands at a door waiting for it to be opened, or stands by a chair waiting for me to pull it out for them. I've even heard girls complaining about having to "split a check", or the guy "didn't hold the door open for me".

It basically turns a nice gesture into a chore you're doing for an entitled shit.

I also hate it when you open a door for someone, and they go out of their way to touch the door. Fuck those people.

I hate it when people open the door for me. Do i look handicapped? What's worse is when someone opens the door and stands there waiting for me like i need to hurry up and accept their help. So whenever this happens what i like to do is stop walking and just look at the person. They'll usually stand there expectantly, but after a minute they figure it out and give up, usually by rolling their eyes or sighing.

Not like i asked them to wait on me. Fucking jerks.
