As the GOP convention nears, God has expressed his disapproval by sending Tropical Storm Isaac to threaten Florida, disrupting the upcoming GOP convention. Republican organizers have expressed shock that God would take measures to disrupt election year proceedings. "Thankfully, God is not a registered voter," RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said, "but it's not like we wouldn't just rig the election equipment here in Florida to make him vote for us anyway if he were registered. Really, these childish tantrums need to stop so that good Christians in the Republican Party can get back to believing the crap we feed them about family values to make them vote for us."
God could not be reached for comment, but it is rumored that he has made some caustic jokes comparing Mormonism to Scientology in the past few days.
