Topic: Why Androids are infinitely superior to the so-called "gay" Apple iPhone

Basement-Dwelling Virgin started this discussion 14 years ago #21,617

1. Android phones come with an octa-core ARM processor that will suck up loads of battery life to render YouTube cat videos and browse 4chan at the same time.
2. You can rest assured that Google is always watching out for you, because whatever you do with your Android phone, Google is there.
3. Thanks to its genuine NVIDIA GPU, you can render Angry Birds slightly faster than the iPhone can. This, of course, comes with the tradeoff that the already-short battery life will be even shorter.
4. When the latest Android version comes out, you won't have to worry about backwards-compatibility and being able to roll back, because your phone probably won't be compatible with the update anyway. If you want it that badly, then you can void your warranty by flashing an unofficial, unsupported ROM onto it, after you gain unauthorized root access to your phone.
5. You can brag about it with your fellow basement-dwelling virgins that attend the same community college that you do.
6. You can feel smug, knowing that you weren't the kind of faggot that buys one of those gay-ass iPhones.

What kind of fat lazy fuck do you have to be to need a company to make decisions for you

7. Instead of having to resort to using a C-based coding language, one gets to use Java for literally everything on the Android phone. Java is well-known for being an efficient programming language, in spite of the fact that it requires the usage of a virtual machine to run anything that uses Java code.

Nope it's not. And I'm not going to debate this troll-bait stuff. Keep it on reddit.

They why don't you prove him wrong? I mean, it kind of looks bad if you just say he's wrong without explaining why...

But this just proves his point about having to tinker with it to even get it working right...

It works right with or without Google applications. If you're too dumb to care about privacy and don't know howto do this or are too lazy to find out, then you're fucked regardless. Apple doesn't care about privacy too. This whole topic is useless.

All Walter does is give his opinion. And so did I, why do I have to back my statement when you don't ask the same of Walter? I don't see any of his arguments backup up with evidence.

But sure all Android devices are the same, have the same battery life, the same firmwares, the same hardware, the same apps, etc etc

So you're saying that if somebody cannot figure out how to change an Android so that it works properly, they are stupid and lazy? That's a little elitist...
