The Falklands War: The Untold Story

Anonymous B joined in and replied with this 14 years ago, 41 minutes later[^] [v] #342,603

Falklands distance to London

Miles: 7913.06
Kilometers: 12734.49

By 1922 the British Empire held sway over about 458 million people, one-fifth of the world's population at the time. The empire covered more than 33,700,000 km2 (13,012,000 sq mi), almost a quarter of the Earth's total land area. -Wiki- Brits lose 13 colonies and move to take over Africa, Asia and the Pacific.

Britain played the game of turning its world into slaves and these days from what I read; England is loaded up with immigrants from those former lands it was ran as a slave operation. Soon Britain ends up downsizing because it can no longer afford home town butthurt.

Then came WWII, Britain ends up sucking hind tit and USA had to save Britain's ass. Britain holds on to Falklands and an uninhabited rock in the Atlantic Ocean, Rockall. Chinese took back Hong Kong. So that now leaves the former British Empire with Cricket and Footbal and a mess of immigration issues.

Hey I could have included Brits Invasion of Afghanistan. Brits against the Zulu's. Takes 1 Million paper pages to outline how Brits ripped off the Planet Earth. I suspect your upset over me saying all the Empire has left is a uninhabited rock n Falklands and not much else except Cricket. What they do have was stolen except of course Cricket.

So in your version of WW2 History Winston Churchill, did not ask President Roosevelt for help, and England would have defeated Hitler all on its own?

@previous (C)
Of course the British Empire exists albeit its a pin prick compared to what it used to be. Falklands for instance.

Had to look it up. Empire started 1497 and wiki says "Decolonisation and decline (1945–1997)"
"Britain was left virtually bankrupt, with insolvency only averted in 1946 after the negotiation of a $3.5 billion loan from the United States, the last installment of which was repaid in 2006."
Did they repay it in Tea?

I didn't say that we'd win on our own. I said that America didn't save us. We were holding out just fine.

Was that before or after the Germans decimated Great Britain's major cities with bombers?

probably before, we had to go save them after that

Save may have been the wrong word. It was a good thing Brits stood up to Hitler. NOT a good thing to take USA Money and use it to continue to mess with India Pakistan Arab lands etc etc etc.

We were also bombing the merry fuck out of them. And our military production was high regardless of their bombing.
