Topic: I want something fun to do

So my girlfriend is on this fancy california vacation with her family. I realized I haven't done anything remotely like that in years. It's all just family visits, and the occasional night at the beach for me.

I'm not really in the position to pay for a trip though, what with college, and needing to get a car, and not to mention I'm making not nearly enough money as it is.

Then I just don't have the time, after my girlfriend gets back from her trip, I'll want to spend time with her, and then I'll have to go back to school.

So I've decided I need to do something fun, something exciting. But I have no idea what to do. The most exciting legal things I can think of are just shows, and clubs.

Do you guys have any recommendations?

Just spent 7 minutes with Google and Huston in search of free summer festival events - Nada

California, so many one has to clone one's self. Working today or I would be at one of many.

To be perfectly honest, that really does seem like the circumstance I'm in. And it saddens me.
