Nah, failure to appear i think. Ticketed for inspection or registration or something. Probably just a day warrant. I'm not worried it, they have to find me first.

Waste of money. Don't use a lawyer. If you missed a court date then just go in whenever. They won't arrest you, but you can go before a judge.
Likely you won't be able to defer it, maybe you can, it's up to the judge. They may just fine you the full amount since you're late. What works is to tell the judge that you recieved the ticket while in your addiction, anx as part of making ammends you're fixing things with the state.
He may decide to help you and let you do defensive drovong or defer the ticket. Depends how mad he gets at people who skip court dates.

Sure some kind of serious traffic shit. Bottom line is that clearing a warrant is easy if you step up and do it. The longer you hold out on clearing it up, the harder it will be on you. All you did was forget a date. Why not call the court on the phone and discuss?

Come on now. If he was going 75 in a 35, or something of that order, after a while it will not even show up on a police check. Maybe in some lowcow state of USA but in California for example, traffic warrants, IF paid, do not show up on a cop computer check 3 years after clearing.
