pull the car halfway infront of the spot, put it in reverse, cut it to the right, and slowly ease the steering back to normal as you reverse. Take as much time as you need, and make sure to put the poles (assuming its similar to how mine was) to the very left of the car. Don't be like me and put the poles in the middle lol

Check your mirrors visibly. (Turn your head so the instructor sees you do that shit)
Just flicking your eyes toward the mirror and back is fine until the instructor misses it and says you never checked at your mirrors throughout the test. :(
