You're still fat and uneducated, Walter.

I'm not OP. And most colleges and courses (liberal arts and other fluff bullshit) are, indeed, needless ripoffs. Trade schools are far more beneficial to most college students (non-STEMM [science, technolody, engineering, mathematics and medical] students). All this "EVERYONE has to go to college", along with student loans, has driven the price of college to unreasonably-high rates.

actually the Pay-for technical colleges or "trade school" such as DeVry or ITT tech have absolutely atrocious job placement records. If fact those schools offer the least bang for your buck: they are expensive, provide low quality instruction and facilities, and "graduating" students have very low employment after finishing. something like 22 cents on the dollar actually go into your education, the rest of it goes into advertisement. seriously.

capitalism can ruin anything.

I have forgotten those. Yeah, no one takes them seriously. They're obvious scams. But they're less dangerous than our current college situation.

They are only "ripoffs" if you think the only reason to go to college is "to get a job". That is not the purpose of universities. You go there to actually BECOME EDUCATED. If you just want to "get a job" then go to a freaking vocational school.

Yeah, a good one too. Like University of Phoenix, ITT Tech or DeVry U.
