Topic: Drivers that make a right turn on a fast road without using the fucking turn signal should be shot.

Anonymous A started this discussion 14 years ago #21,187

Do NOT just suddenly turn to park into a parking spot at the side of the street without using your turn signal. Unless, of course, you'd like a warped back bumper and a nice chat with the police.

Perhaps you should keep a gun in your glove box and begin enforcing this policy.

The person who rear ends another driver is always at fault. Doesn't matter if they signalled properly or not.

@338,838 (C)
Ever heard of "careless/reckless driving"? Even if I hit them from the rear, they'd still be at fault for driving like a fucking imbecile. They turned without a signal, braked very harshly on a busy road AND almost got ME hit too, as I had to brake hard to avoid hitting the stupid bitch.

I want to say sup to that one guy, but he would be complaining about left turns, interestingly enough.

yup, i peg op for a new driver too. what, less than 5 years driving?
let me put it to you this way, OP. After putting 300,000+ miles on various vehicles (most of it city or congested highway traffic) for personal use and work i've come to learn one thing about driving that everyone should know:

everyone on the road is either an idiot or a fucking retard.

Most people around you either don't understand the actual rules of the road (but think they do), or are really, really clumsy drivers. People do stupid shit every hour of every day on every mile of every road in the whole fucking world.
get used to it.

I am of the opinion that every accident is avoidable, and that in every accident you can see which mistakes led to it. learn what stupid shit other people do (ride in blind spots, follow too closely, change lanes instead of slowing down, being distracted, fooled into thinking they "know" what other drivers are doing, etc.) and you'll never get in an accident again.

unless you're an idiot or a fucking retard.

THEY WERE ON THE PASSING LANE BEFORE THEY CUT ME OFF TO GET TO THEIR OH, SO IMPORTANT PARKING SPOT.
Lord knows why they weren't in the rightmost lane to begin with. That fucking spastic imbecile. It pisses me off just thinking about it.

Left turns suck, too. But that's beside the point. I've had plenty of people just suddenly commit a right turn at 40mph without a turn signal, but this scenario just pissed me off for this entire day. And I bet it would take someone like to4str to pull off such a fucking imbecilic move.
@338,845 (squeegee !firstkPE1Q)
I'm not entirely innocent. I speed whenever I can do it safely.

your little picture you drew has you right in the blind spot. also, nice generic diagram of something that is completely only related to itself. Cars blind spots vary, but it's between 3 o clock, and 6 o clock. That's your danger zone. If you don't believe me, wait till you get in a wreck because of it.

Even if I was in his blind spot, he should've known not to do that really stupid fucking move. As if there weren't people right on my ass. Besides, a quick shoulder check would've solved that problem. I never change lanes without a shoulder check.

@338,852 (A)
he might've shoulder checked. some cars aren't friendly to shoulder checks, e.g., the buick leSabre or any other boat of a car. even some little cars are driven by fucking retards who shoulder check but don't pay attention while they do it and still hit people.

you're right, his maneuver was stupid and unsafe, and he could've easily hit someone in his blindspot or someone pacing him too closely off his bumper.
and in the future you can avoid this by ensuring that you give people "emergency room" to maneuver wildly and not hit you. but i agree, people maneuver like fucking retards half the time.

Yeah. The closest I've ever done to something this stupid was when I was in the right lane (as usual) and someone pulls out of a drive-through tacobell JUST enough to where his front end stuck out onto the road. I had to make an uncomfortable lane change and had barely enough time to check my blind spot. I hate other drivers.

I agree with OP. He's a dummy for riding in the person's blind spot, but that other driver is worse for just cutting across the road with no indication or apparent checking for other vehicles. What if there was another car behind that person on the left hand lane who is blocking OP from swerving left? Nothing to do except swerve into the parked car or smash into the car that cut him up, because there would be no time to stop the car even at 30km/h.

Inferior humans should not be permitted to drive, period.

Robocars will be mandated by law one day. They will monitor the driver's every move and submit driving records to a supercomputer for analysis. Shitty drivers will have their licences pulled automatically.

And personally, I cannot fucking wait. 80% of you turds don't deserve any kind of responsibility whatsoever. Let alone the responsibility of not fucking other people over with your car.

this. When you drive you have to assume that everyone around you is driving with their head firmly implanted in their rectum. This means leaving a lot of space between you and all the cars around you, avoiding blind spots, and always anticipating that the idiot in front of you is going to do the stupidest, most irresponsible thing he can for no good reason.
