Topic: Have you ever argued with a cat before?

Anonymous A started this discussion 14 years ago #21,105

If you haven't, here's a good summary: "I don't care that I'm wrong, I am right and I will prove it with violence"

One time our cat kept shitting everywhere in the house, it did that a few times then I just snapped. Put it in my car, dumped it couple miles from my house and I've never seen it again. Hate cats.

He did that because he felt he was more dominant than you.

You should have shat on his things to establish dominance over him, you fool.

Abandoning animals is an asshole thing to do.

I thought it would find its way home, but no. I felt bad at the time, but there was only so much I could take. It was just shitting on everything constantly and fighting our other cat causing it to get frightened and piss everywhere. At least the other cat is happy now.

It was probably eaten by stray dogs. At least ripped apart. You could've taken it to the vet, they'll put 'em down for incontinence. Also you could've abandoned it at a pound and they would hace killed it humanely as well.

But no, you chose death by exposure or ripped apart by dogs.

@previous (squeegee)
Stray dogs? I don't live in the fucking third world buddy. Most likely it just found someone to feed it and found shelter somewhere, or it just became stray cat eating wild animals, dunno. I drove past the area multiple times trying to find it afterwards but no sign of it ever again. I thought cats are supposed to have excellent navigational skills, well I only dropped it off about 3-4 fields from my house, yet it couldn't track home? Must have been dumber than I thought.

No. It was savagely killed by wild dogs. Its neck was broken and it bled out, but it suffered pain before losing consciousness.

You shouldn't be violent to your cat, OP.

There are no wild dogs here or many animals capable of killing a cat.

First world countries have tons of stray animals because dumb fucking cunts abandon them in the wild. And i doubt your little house cat suddenly because a wild hunter. If it couldn't find a bowl of kibble it likely just starved.

But yeah, an old incontinent animal that can hardly take care of itself isn't going to do well thrust into the wild, old, sick and tame.

Of course it didn't make it home. It was a fucking housecat. You act like you were reintroducing it to the wild or something. Had it ever even eaten an animal it caught or did it just wait to be fed?

Anonymous B replied with this 14 years ago, 19 minutes later, 8 hours after the original post[^] [v] #338,020

@previous (squeegee)
Lol wut? Cats are hunters dumbfuck, how do you think they survive in the wild? I've even had cats that we never put food down for, just milk occasionally. They can catch rabbits and all kinds of small animals. Jesus.

Anonymous H joined in and replied with this 14 years ago, 1 hour later, 10 hours after the original post[^] [v] #338,045

most cats shouldn't even be drinking milk

you don't know shit about cats
the most likely thing to happen to a cat that's abandoned is for it to get hit by a car

squeegee replied with this 14 years ago, 4 minutes later, 10 hours after the original post[^] [v] #338,047

@338,020 (B)
Because you likely fed it a diet of catfood and not live mice for its entire life. What's it going to do, learn to catch birds while it shits itself and cried out for a bowl of food?

Cruel.

@previous (squeegee)
That fucking cat was always bringing all kinds of animals in to the house, mostly rabbits. It's not fucking cruel. It's cruel to force someone into clearing up shit multiple fucking times because you are too lazy to walk 10 feet out of the cat flap and shit outside. The cat was trolling me and I had to stop it. Fuck you!!

squeegee replied with this 14 years ago, 7 minutes later, 11 hours after the original post[^] [v] #338,068

Implying the cat did it purppsefully instead of being too old and sickly to stand up and walk outside.

Have some empathy, you're human. A cat is not. You threw a poor defenseless animal to the wolves because you CBA to clean upafter YOUR cat. I hope when you're to old to clean your ass after you shit yourself that your kids call you a lazy twat and toss you baby wipes to do it yourself.

Old and sickly? You should have seen it running when I was going after it. It was like an animal possessed.

squeegee replied with this 14 years ago, 2 minutes later, 11 hours after the original post[^] [v] #338,072

Going after it? Oh, so now you abandoned it, changed your mind and tried to catch it, and it ran away willingly now?

Quit trying to change the story.

Huh, what? Of course I had to catch it in order to dump it. How else would I move the cat? Teleport it?

It probably knew you were going to kill it. I'd have run for my life too.

Anonymous B replied with this 14 years ago, 6 minutes later, 11 hours after the original post[^] [v] #338,090

@previous (squeegee)
I didn't kill it. I put it in a plastic bag but it ripped through with its claws, so I put it in a cage. Dumped it 2 miles from my house, it walked down a dirt track and I never seen it again. It is probably living like a king right now getting food and warm milk at his new foster home.
