I want to watch the Olympics and the opening ceremony on BBC's iPlayer.

Streaming is usually painfully slow on most open proxies if you can get it to work at all.

a proxy is like opening an internet browser inside your internet browser. you navigate to the page using your normal browser URL bar, then the page loads and gives you a second URL bar with which you use to navigate on the proxy server.

ex: www.hidemyass.com is an example of a proxy.

What is a good proxy so I could watch the Olympics on iPlayer?

@OP
Buy a VPS in the UK. I got one that costs 1.45 euro a month and gives me 300GB of traffic. More than enough to stream the shit out of all UK on-demand and live services.
