Because it doesn't come on until 7:30 PM for me.

Why does it seem like the pacific coast always gets fucked?

I watched the BBC stream live online and it brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful. Funny. and poignant. Showcases the best of Britain. Makes you proud to be British.
BBC had a much better commentary than NBC (which I watched to relive the beauty); not much better, mind you, but it was at least real live commentary and more pleasant.

TL;DR beautiful and inspiring, mary poppins.

Yep. Watched it live on BBC.

They have to make sure any material that may be deemed offensive is shielded from your precious eyes and ears.

NBC cut to commercials every 12 femtoseconds, pronounced things funny, and rushed through their non-live version. They also gave away the McCartney ending.
BBC announcers just babbled during the parade of nations (Kyrgyzstan being the only nation with a single vowel in the name, etc) and talked a bit much during nice bits.
Does that make more sense?

Can I still watch it on BBC?

Maybe on BBC iPlayer.
