Do you mean like you're fully aware of it, and you just hope he doesn't get caught, or flip on you?
Or do you mean like waking up to get a midnight snack, and catching him dragging something that suspiciously looks like a body to the garage?

Primarily the first line.
But the second one sounds creepy.

Oprah Winfrey had an interview on her show with the sister of John Wayne Gacy, a famous serial killer. She also spoke to the son of Jim Jones, the founder of Jonestown who led hundreds of followers of his cult to commit suicide, in the same episode.
I couldn't find the videos, but here are textual articles: Gacy's Sister and Jones' Son. They're pretty worth the read and relevant to the questions.

I don't think I ever knew of Jim Jones having a son.
Unless my mind is being stupid.

I think OP has a morbid obsession/infatuation with serial killers. It's alright. Many deranged and lonely women do.

Why would a woman stay with a man she knew was a serial killer unless she was also a killer, or just mentally unstable?

Women who fall in love with those killers who have been caught and are awaiting trial or are in prison. Other definitions include anyone, male or female, who shows some obsession with serial killers, to the point of extreme emotional attachment. It's not always clear whether the phrase "serial killer groupie," refers to people who just love the idea of a serial killer and would be aroused by any sort of contact, or more strictly to those who have become attached to a specific killer.

Could Stockholmes syndrome also play a contributing factor there too?
