Yes however if you care to much for someone who is clueless? Fail

I read a long novel today about two friends who found love in a strange land and then discovered they would never age, and their wives did age and eventually died.

It made me very sad. I hope I'm not immortal.

Can someone be too nice?
I might as well ask here since it fits with the overall theme of this thread.

No problem because if you die you may return in some other form. ( Did I say IF you die? )

I wouldn't mind being immortal, so long as my loyal wife were to be immortal as well.

Caring about someone who is on a path of failure, is destined for disappointment. (Both you and person who is on the sad path)

I hope not. That would be hellish. I want to stop existing after I die.

It's a cruel burden nevertheless.

I agree. I hope I never vet that way. I pretty much cheered up, but the man I see as a brother will make is own choices. As will I.

Far better to be the kind of person that loves & cares to much, rather then someone who is indifferent.
