the laptop of my litle brother was victom of a pretty funny malware virus.

what it did was opening a kind of full screen custom browser, I was unable to close it. taskmanager was no help either... but what it did was showing me a dutch/enlish page that said that I had been on dangerous websites, childporn or simular websites and the blocked the computer.. I had to pay moe for the to unblock it...

the funny part my brother actually believed it was real.. he was totally stressed out.. it was so funny..

all I did was restart the comuter in safe mode... open msconfig .. checked the startup list for suspicous programmes, found one with a really stange name.. disabled it. restarted the computer normal, deleted the files that normally were started at startup and it was gone(still heve the webpage files)

anyone has seen this before? any idea what program caused it?

Very common way for crooks to scam money from gullible old people/children/actual pedophiles.
