I have the release preview already. It's pretty much identical to Windows 7, but I like the lower resource usage.

It was Windows ME that was notorious. And IIRC, 2000 was part of the NT non-household range. But that didn't stop us from using it at home. That operating system was fantastic, but Windows ME was absolutely atrocious.

The better performance is great, but I'll probably wait until custom theming is possible and I can fix the horrifying appearance of Metro.

I think that they should have kept the windows design conventions for 8, and made a seperate OS for tablets. Trying to merge them together just feels off.
