Economically hopeless. Politically inept. Intolerant of Christianity while bending over for Islamic cock. A Disney lifestyle funded entirely on debt. And the Euro's a bigger joke than fucking bitcoin.
So what's holding the European Union together again?

No really. Actually sit down and read some shit before dishing out baseless criticisms of people who are against it. You may learn something.

This. OP thinks he has a degree in Economics. Wait for China to ask for all its money back. The American economy will collapse before you can say "one dolla".

The solution is as it has always been: Grow some balls and allow failures to fail. Only then can we learn from our mistakes. It may be painful, but it's not all that complicated.

Sounds good to me. I keep Gold as a hedge. A few diamonds as well. Some land and property. Doubt if I could live off the land however. I am also somewhat Intolerant of Christianity lol.

Well you can suck it then, because your skepticism has run full circle into stupidity. I do in fact have a degree in Economics. Oh, and I'm a CFA charterholder to boot, so that should really ride your ass.

You do realise that if we allowed "failures to fail" that nearly every first world economy would collapse and anarchy would ensue thus setting us back nearly 100 years.

Lose the diamonds. Gold is superior in every possible way. Diamonds are illiquid by comparison, and there's far too much variation in quality.

May I ask? Has your degree paid off yet? Black as opposed to Red, or at least in a positive direction. Has the degree helped you in investments so far?
Diamonds are investment grade. Close very close to GIA, with friends working there.

Explain to me exactly how I'm violating the code of ethics. If you were to make a case against me before the ICFA, what would your arguments be exactly?

You laugh now, but you fail to realize that the Greeks have a very proud heritage and that before WW2, Germany had basically nothing to fight with. They were stripped of an army and owed tremendous, unpayable debt to the rest of the west.

Well, let's see. I think so. I'm not really rich, but I do enjoy freedoms the average American simply cannot relate to. For example, I've spent only 5 months of the last year in America, preferring instead to visit Brazil, Canada and Australia. You know, countries whose economies aren't in the toiled ATM.
I have the luxury of choosing not to work. Not because I'm against it, but because I find the pay to be inadequate compared to what I earn trading and investing. This is simply absurd to most strangers I encounter. They all seem to think I'm some kind of hippie or spoiled rich kid, but really I'm not. My mother was nurse and my father an electrician. I worked for 7 years after college, lived with my parents and saved as much money as I could to escape wage slavery, and I'm grateful to have done so.
But anyways. If you don't believe me regarding the diamonds. Sell $1,000 worth of your diamonds and $1,000 worth of your gold, examine the transaction fees and get back to me. Sure, you're closing the gap by buying only investment grade diamonds, but still. Diamonds are far less predictable than gold.

I to have enjoyed far more freedoms then the average citizen of Planet Earth. Worked and lived all over the planet. I continue to work because my work started out as my hobby. Paid to play is truly the way to go. Not that its always play. Super pay also comes from super risk if I make an error. I have but have recovered in time.
Diamonds only because for a while I could buy at true wholesale. Not currently but that could change. Have sold a few and at no transaction fee. Trade of technical services in lieu of fees. Just have to find a seller in need of exactly that again. I do not have a minor in economics. I just do not believe in eggs in one basket. Gold has been so fucking great for me + I truly known its value in technology. So I am at about 75% Gold & 25% diamonds currently. Property because its down right cheep in USA is where I currently put excess funds. (Renters are paying top $ currently)
