I went and looked at Honda motorcycles today with a Chinese friend. There were three bikes that I decided were the best buys. Which should I buy? Here are the details:
1. 2002 model, engine in very good shape, tires will need replacing before too long, kickstart: 4,500 RMB
2. 2004 model, engine is good but not quite as good as the first one, tires are new and full of tread, crashbars, kickstart: 4700 RMB
3. About a 2006 model, engine is in very good shape, body looks really nice, different, more modern design, tires are very good shape, electric start: 5800

I guess I do not remember the film well enough, but yeah, the kid should have asked.

Are these motorcycles designed for the, uh, local people? I'm picturing Chris Farley on a tricycle.

LOL..they are standard Honda models made for China. They are not really overly small, but certainly nothing like the obnoxious Harleys in the US.

This, in all red, is close to what it looks like.
