I used to go to this thing called Excel in Saratoga Springs new york In Jan 05, 06 and 07.
It was fun, but it was too weird for me. What happened was it was basically fun shenanigans with your friends at a hotel with booths and seminars and stuff, a convention of sorts. But there was "General Session". Nobody liked General Session because it was like 3 hours of bullshit church stuff with mediocre christian rock bands. Some kids did like it but they were the already religious ones. They were the kids who put their hands in the air and had mental breakdowns. I did that kind of shit the first year, but the second year I just came to the conclusion that it wasn't fucking god, but just having a raver kind of experience with extremely bassy music and people everywhere. -I don't know... By 2007 I was rolling my eyes and taking naps in General Session. I had the opportunity to go in Jan. 2008 but I thought "fuck it"...
Especially because they preached anti-evolution, anti-abortion bullshit. That always pissed me off...

They believe that movies should not portray magic or talking animals, as those things are demonic in nature. We were also not allowed to bring any reading material that wasn't a Bible to camp.
