No heat here whatsoever. Which sucks because my work gets less business.

93? Shit
That's spring time around here. It's 97 right now. Unseasonably cool, tbh.
Nice and breezy, good day to be outdoors.

Last week was pretty hot, 105 in the afternoons. Eh, well see. I think we'll have a pretty cool summer and only break 100 for 2 months in a row this year. We'll see come august.

So do I. I just have a weakness to heat. When it gets above 80F, I suffer.

What part of the house do you live in? I live in a cozy finished basement.

It's a huge room that was once a big garage until about ten years ago, attached to the main house. It's essentially my own tiny house.

That's what we'd get last year. Now we get oddly delightful dry heat.

Using Celsius for weather = fail.

Fahrenheit is more accurate and more relevant to human existence. On the Fahrenheit scale, 0 to 100 represents the survivable range of air temperatures, not some bullshit reference to water's current state of matter.

Coastal Texas is actually a little cool right now. Hasn't hit a hundred in days. Makes up for last summer.

W joined in and replied with this 14 years ago, 2 hours later, 19 hours after the original post[^] [v] #330,954

Fahrenheit 0-100 is not the survivable range, else people couldn't live in hotter and colder places!

0 was the freezing point of saltwater, 96 was the average body temperature.. except they changed it later so that water boiled at 180 above the freezing.

Why? Because then its 64 deg from freezing water to body temp, and its easy to draw 64 marks by subdividing into to 2 on a thermometer.

Sound bizarre and archaic? Yeh it is.. only the US and North Korea use Fahrenheit officially.. go figure. Come join the 21st century any time youre ready...

Could you post it a bit less, at least? Mobile mode is becoming irritating to use.
