Poor dental hygene due to alcoholism
And lack of money to pay for anything but pulling them out.
He's generally a sickly looking fellow. Always looking like he's off to the hospital (but he's not, the closest he gets to a doctor is when the nurse asks him to leave for not having insurance.)
