Most of Google's products are very intuitive, the only problem I can see anyone having with them is the supposed privacy rape.

What do you think the actual problem might be?

All four modern lights are on as suppose to, but the little two monitor icon next to the date at the bottom right of screen doesn't show a globe symbolizing that a connection has been made.

wot? Look up Room 641A interception facility operated by AT&T. Its tiny by comparison to a facility closer to San Jose where undersea cable connects for all of USA route to AT&T & guess who.

Reboot your computer & reboot the modem (just disconnect modem power for 10 seconds) You could first just try a reboot on modem.
