I hate the tab page, I'm changing it back to my homepage. I wish they would stop mimicking the features of other browsers and come up with more unique ideas.

Not really. It just opens up something to make it look that way and then calls a bunch of functions that suck CPU cycles pulling things in and out of memory in hopes that the program will crash or freeze before the user figures out that it isn't actually downloading anything.
