Family had owned the house there since the '70's, back when it was a decent neighborhood. It's an awful shithole now. Plus, this house was purchased on the cheap. Now I know why, the electrical system is fucky, the AC vents have black mold or something, the roof is ready to fall in, the siding is rotting off, the shutters are falling off the sides of the windows, and I had to literally rewire the porch lights/lights outside the doors myself. We just don't have any money. My uncle is the only one with a job and he hoards his money and steals my mom's pills to sell. I'm going to just work until I'm comfortable, buy the house from my mom, evict my uncle, and move to Denmark.

Yeah, I've been there, and it's a pretty area. Id like to buy a large tract of land somewhere like that (like massive) and create a micronation. My dream is to live in a young country that has the same "pride" and sense of freedom that I imagine the founding fathers felt.
