No, this happened while he was staying here in the USA. They moved back to Finland shortly after marriage. Now we are all happily (bullshit) living here in the USA, and he still does painkillers, most of which I steal when he isnt looking.

Yeah, but not quite to the point of his severity. He does a good job at covering it up from the rest of the family and his girlfriend though. But I overlook what he does (e.g. not snitch to them) as long as he overlooks what I do (e.g. steal all his beer). He even holds down a job flying and other things.

However & I once attended a course in driving while intoxicated .. Drink one shot ...test on simulator & then run a course in a Porsche. Drink another and do again. One learns how do do ones best when intoxicated! One also learns one never is as good as when one is 100% Sober. 4 day course.
