What would the TARDIS look like?

The Tardis would be a Burger King and the Doctor would have a sonic assault rifle instead of a sonic screwdriver.

I was thinking maybe some kind of car (since Americans love their vehicles), but was this something you had in mine?

A phone booth. Or just a door. Depends if they want to go funny or Lost-style dramatic with it.

They would make it apeal to nerds and geeks so The Doctor would be some skinny collage kid with 2 or 3 super hot female assistants and the Tardis would be an apartment filmed in front of a live studio audance

What are the chances of an Americanized Doctor Who series actually being good?

Chances would be good. USA recycles UK themes with success. Hugh Laurie, is currently out of a job.

I heard that they are making an American Doctor Who movie. I'll bet that he packs a gun.

It certainly would make the episodes a bit shorter and cull the recurring antagonists.

Image went missingIt would look like a phone booth, or one of those highway call boxes, or one of those blue light emergency things they have around some college campuses.

Kind of like what Back to the Future did with the DeLorean.

Don't be stupid. The Tardis would quite obviously be an oversized SUV. Probably a Navigator. This of course means it would have a shit load of mechanical problems, as does any union built product of fine American engineering.

Has Doctor Who ever did an episode where they goto America?

Dr Who would be morbidly obese and his Tardis would be a fast food restaurant.

There was an English-American co-production filmed in 1996, meant to be a pilot for a Fox network series. Shot in Vancouver, the telemovie had a number of discrepancies from the British series, but remained faithful to the original's overall continuity. The most controversial change made to the character was that he describes himself as "half-human" on his mother's side. The fans have been debating this point ever since.

The Tardis was depicted as a British police box, same as usual.
